Chad Hagan

Chad Hagan has been an attorney with T. Wade Welch & Associates since 2001. Mr. Hagan's practice is focused in the area of commercial litigation, with an emphasis on litigating unlawful competition, satellite piracy and business contract disputes before federal courts around the country. Mr. Hagan has represented clients in several suits involving foreign corporations and the DBS Satellite industry, including a multi-billion dollar business dispute between domestic and international-based corporations involved in the conditional access and encryption arena.

Mr. Hagan's representation covers a wide array of business disputes including the successful defense of a multi-million dollar shareholder derivative suit, nationwide retailer class-action defense, international programming disputes, software development litigation, trademark infringement defense and prosecution, labor and employment disputes and products liability claims. Mr. Hagan has also worked in close connection with both domestic and foreign governmental agencies in joint litigation efforts including the AUSA, FBI and RCMP.

Mr. Hagan's practices covers the full scope of pre-trial, trial and post-trial litigation undertakings, with extensive experience in complex motion practice and discovery in both federal and state litigation matters across the United States.
