David Noll
David Noll has been at attorney with T. Wade Welch & Associates since 2000. Mr. Noll has broad-ranging expertise in nationwide complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on business contract disputes. He has successfully prosecuted and defended a wide array of business issues--with tens of millions of dollars at stake--ranging from software development and television programming disagreements to complex asset purchase agreements. A substantial portion of Mr. Noll's practice is also devoted to defending employment-related litigation, and includes the successful defense of numerous cases brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, as well as other state and federal anti-discrimination and retaliation statutes.
Mr. Noll primarily represents Fortune 500 clients in the direct broadcast satellite industry and has successfully litigated a wide range of legal issues on their behalf, including intellectual property rights, fraud, defamation, and satellite signal piracy. His practice encompasses the full range of pretrial, jury trial and appellate work in state and federal courts, with extensive experience in complex motions and discovery. He has represented clients in various forms of alternate dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration proceedings.
When defending lawsuits, Mr. Noll has often been able to defeat cases at the initial pleading phase by way of dispositive motions; however, his philosophy is to prepare every case for trial. Most recently, Mr. Noll secured a directed verdict in a jury trial he defended in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas over an alleged violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
