T. Wade Welch & Associates;

Houston, TX

Owner & Principal, 1992-2022

T. Wade Welch & Associates was a commercial litigation firm servicing Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial interests throughout the country. In 1992, I began representing a satellite broadcaster and served as national lead counsel in virtually all of its high-profile litigation matters, including a $5 Billion lawsuit arising out of a failed merger as well as its multi-billion dollar antitrust lawsuit against a satellite rival, which ultimately resulted in a $26 billion merger agreement with the rival company. Over an eighteen-year period, I litigated numerous complex matters nationwide against Fortune 500 companies involving trademarks, copyrights, breaches of contract, intricate statutory claims, and various business torts with nine figure amounts in controversy. The firm was selected as a Go-To Law Firm in Litigation, as featured in Fortune magazine, by DISH Network LLC (Fortune 200) from 2006 through 2011 and Archer Daniels Midland Company (Fortune 30) in 2012. Other representative clients include Bayer AG and tw telecom. Licensed in Texas and Colorado and admitted to various Federal District Courts nationwide as well as multiple Circuit Courts of Appeals.

In addition to that representation, the firm has capitalized on its litigation and business experience by expanding into other industries. Our sizable clients include a worldwide leader in agriculture, a global enterprise with core competencies in the areas of healthcare, nutrition, and high-tech materials, a multi-state real estate conglomerate, nationwide trucking and telecommunications providers, medical products manufacturers, and environmental remediation companies -to name a few. For six consecutive years since 2007, the firm has been named a Fortune 500 Go-To Law Firm. This broad spectrum of representation and experience gives us the ability to offer comprehensive business solutions to our clients.
